5 Important Facts About Anal Sex

Posted by Gina Petare on

1. THE ANUS DOES NOT PRODUCE LUBRICATION

Unfortunately the anus is not like the vagina (which naturally self-lubricates), it does not produce lubrication, and no saliva won't cut it!

Lubrication will definitely be your best friend..anal sex without it will be your worst nightmare. Please do not attempt this! Ever!

If you suck at listening or not a really good reader and are going to go ahead and proceed in trying anal penetration without any lubricant prepare for horrible pain due to anal chafing, irritation, and even tears, which can lead to bleeding..yikes.

Don't say we didn't warn you.

We recommend water based and silicone based lubes for any sort of anal penetration from intercourse to anal toys.

Stay away from oil based lubes if you are going to have anal sex using a condom. Oil-based lubes cause condoms to break much faster. The reason being......science.

2. THE ANUS WILL NOT BE PERMANENTLY STRETCHED

THE ANUS WILL NOT BE PERMANENTLY STRETCHED

It is common belief that the anus will become stretched and loose after participating in anal sex multiple or many times.

Good news for the superficial, New York City sex therapist Ian Kerner, Ph.D and author of She Comes First stated that the anus reverts back to its original state shortly after anal penetration. So no need to worry, go ahead and enjoy it!

Just because your back door can't become loose and stretched we must warn that the sphincter can be damaged, which can lead to loss of control of bowl movements.

So practice safe anal by using lots of lubricant, penetrate slowly at the start until you are comfortable, and do not use extremely large objects..especially at the beginning.

3. ANAL SEX & ANAL TOYS ARE BECOMING LESS TABOO

ANAL SEX & ANAL TOYS ARE BECOMING LESS TABOO

luckily for everyone anal sex and the use of anal toys are becoming more and more accepted by society as the years pass by. Society in general is becoming more open and liberal across the board and this includes anal sex.

Experts in the field claim that 50% of couples say they have tried it at least one time.

There you have it folks, do not be ashamed to try it, at least half of the population is participating in anal sex!

4. ANAL SEX SHOULD NOT HURT

ANAL SEX SHOULD NOT HURT

There is a  false   stigma  that anal   sex  hurts like hell   and that the   receiver is  walking   like  he  or she got   hit by a bus  the   next  day  after   taking it in   anus. This  is not   true,if this is   occurring to you   than we got news..you are doing it wrong. To avoid horrible pain, injury, and following day limping we recommend lots of lube, start off with small objects, and penetrate very slowly before working your way up to rapid trusts.

Trust us your anus will thank you for it!

5. ANAL SEX CAN BE BOTH DIRTY OR CLEAN

ANAL SEX CAN BE BOTH DIRTY OR CLEAN

Alright cave dwellers and people who live under rocks, we all know (I hope) that we go number 2 using our anus (except for Kim Jong-Un), which paints a horrific picture, however Stephanie Haas from Love Matters says " If you’re healthy, and you don’t have diarrhea, constipation or intestinal diseases, once you’ve been for a poo, the rectum is left empty and pretty much clean until the next load of waste comes along."

So as long as the anus is washed with soap and water before anal sex there should not be any problems.

If diarrhea, constipation, intestinal diseases, std's, or just can't get over mother nature's decision for us using our anus to poop, is a factor, just use a condom.
